Parker learned his skills form his father, the famous Ed Parker who created the American Kenpo style and taught it to celebrities like Elvis Presley, Bruce Lee, and others. “ We are expecting at least 25 black belts to be there.” “This is really a big deal,” said Evelyn Liebes, who organized the event. He also holds a Red Belt (Master’s Belt) in Chiryoku Rikiji and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do. Meyers has studied and taught martial arts for over 41 years. Local Karate Master Lynn Myers, an eighth degree blackbelt is hosting the event. The event will be held at the dojo at Kubex Fitness located at 920 N.
